Website Template: Choosing the Best (An Informative Guide)

A website template is a pre-made web page where the user can customize the content and elements according to its requirements to get a high-quality professional website.

These templates work as a base/starting point for building your website, which helps people with no coding knowledge/experience skip creating webpages from scratch.

While designing the template using a programming language such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and many more, the developer keeps in mind the general audience.

The same templates can be used multiple times by different people and companies.

Here Is A List Of Elements That Comprise A Website Template

Common Elements :

  • Site Logo, Name/Title, Background Colour
  • Global Fonts, Colours, Buttons
  • Header
  • Navigation Bar/Menu
  • Layout with pre-made content blocks
  • Templates would be either responsive or adaptive, which includes a mobile version
  • Picture Gallery, Slideshow
  • Banner or Video Background
  • Video Player
  • Contact Form
  • Chatbot
  • Animations
  • Social Media Icons
  • Footer

you can also sell the music as an individual or as an album.

and many more in a website template.

The website template can be a single page or multi-page, where each page has its elements & features, styled according to the type of website, industry, business, and also based on topics. It can be a free or paid version.

You can find it as a stand-alone downloadable/purchasable from a third-party marketplace or included with CMS or a website builder.

Guidelines To Consider On How To Choose The Best Template

The website represents a brand and is also an integral part of the company or person.

The style, look, feel & tone in which you interact with users will decide whether they want to stay and engage with the site.

Looking at so many templates can leave you feeling lost or confused about which one is best for your website.

Therefore, here are some key points to research about the website template before making any decision:

  • Reviewing user ratings and testimonials
  • Developer’s Bio – Experience, list of templates created so far.
  • How is the customer support – reading reviews, study support forum, how quickly do you receive technical support from the developer?
  • Is the template up-to-date and compatible with the current version of CMS or website builder, and browser?
  • Does the template update frequently?
  • How easily are the template vulnerabilities, bugs, and issues being resolved?
  • How secure is the template from cyber attackers?
  • Log all the updates till the current version of the template
  • Have in-depth documentation & tutorials (blogs, guides, video) about how to use the template, including (features & functionality)

What type of website are you building?

You should be clear of

What do you want from the website? Do you want Brand awareness, Increase Traffic, Grow Customer Base, Increase Conversion, Increase Sales, and Reduce Cart Abonnement?

Who is your target audience?

In what ways can you solve the problems & pain points of the visitor? How will they benefit from it?

Do you want the audience to take any action once visiting the website – download, purchase fill out a form, or book online?

Deciding the purpose of the website, whether it will be:

Online Store

Blog

Business Service

Portfolio

Entertainment

News / Magazine

Events

Online Food Order

Online Booking

Community

Education

depends on what business you do, in which industry you are, & for what topic.

According to these points, you also have to decide what features & functionality would be available on the website.

Wix : The Most Popular & Flexible Website Builder

Wix is one of the most popular freemium website builders on the market, offering both free and paid plans.

It is ideal for beginners, freelancers, and small-sized businesses who want to build and design a fully personalized, high-quality website in a short time.

Wix is not only a website builder, but also has a built-in all-in-one online business solution that will manage and grow your business online.

It also offers free, reliable, protected, scalable, and secure web hosting with built-in SSL Certificates.

Website Templates

Why do these companies or individuals want a website? So that they can build their online presence in the market for either personal or commercial purposes.

Just publishing your website on the internet is not enough, it’s about the first impression of your business or you that the audience will make while going through the website.

The primary step is the most difficult part. Choosing the right type of website that aligns with the goals, objectives, and what the business wants to achieve from its digital presence can be one of the most difficult parts of web development.

Choose from over 800+ customizable and eye-catching templates, which will give you the freedom to design and create your website the way you want.

It uses the “What you see is what you get” pattern on all templates.

Wix Website Templates

If you have a detailed concept that none of Wix’s existing templates matches, you can choose a blank template and let your imagination run wild by choosing all the elements, styles, and details yourself.

This method may be too time-consuming for multi-paged and content-rich websites, as you need to design each page separately.

Individuals and small-sized companies should be careful when selecting a template, as when the website goes live, the templates are not interchangeable.

If you choose another template, you have to take down the existing website and start from scratch.

Drag & Drop Editor

One of the strongest USP (Unique Selling Points) for Wix is the world’s most innovative drag and drop editor, also known as Standard DIY Editor.

After selecting the right type of template for your business, decide whether you want a Single-Page Layout or a Multiple-Page Layout website.

According to that, you can easily add or delete pages in the editor.

Wix ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence)

Wix ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence) is another option for making a professional website in just a few minutes using AI technologies, by asking basic questions about the business and website needs.

When all the information is collected, ADI technology will create a personalized, ready-made site that can go live with the click of a button.

If you want to tweak some changes, you’ll be able to do that in the ADI editor or move the site from Wix ADI to the Standard DIY editor.

Internet Web Design

Internet Web design

Internet web design company in India to design your professional website at an affordable cost with long extended customer care support

Internet web design so when it comes to internet web design one thing that comes to your mind is what exactly does it mean by internet web design?

Internet web design and website design both are similar. It has to do with the website for a business and its functionality, usability, security, etc

So why does a business need a website?

let me explain to you that in today’s world, everything is digitally connected. If you are not digitally present, your business is not reaching out to the people searching for your products and services to make Your customer aware of your services should have a website.

So every business requires a website to showcase their products, and services to the relevant audience to make them aware, to sell them digitally, that is online sales.

If you are searching or looking for designing a website or searching for a Internet Web Design or Digital Marketing consultant for your business then you are at the right place you can consult us we will give you Proposal for designing a website as well as for SEO consultant if you have an existing website and if you want to modify it.

What is a website and how a website design should be?

Website is nothing but a display or a run-through of your company products, profile, services, and expertise, rather than called expertise it is domain expertise in the subject.

People often search for your products and services and land on your website so basically whenever any keyword related to your service is being searched in the Google search engine, results pop-up organically, this is basically because of organic SEO.

Every website should be built in such a way that it is user-friendly whenever any keyword or any services or products you are offering is being searched in the Google search engine the customers should land on your website so a good on-page SEO is a must for any website this is the rule number one according to us.

Now the big question is how you should design a website

Relevant Information

Whenever a customer land on the website he basically would like to see the things for which we have searched on Google for example if somebody is searching for a Digital Marketing company in India or Internet Web Design company, India then they might land on our website which is www.gotitnow.in and once he lands on a website he should be able to to see the relevant information for which have searched.

Website Structuring

A website should be a simple architecture a collection of a few pages to display such as a company profile, the products, and services, if it is an eCommerce website then a shop page, the contact page, and most importantly a call to action button at a convenience like for example call us now, get in touch with us now, contact us now, so these are all the three formats of call-to-action buttons.

The navigation should be very simple and easy for the user and the website should be readable.
Don’t use many flashy things, for example, embedding a flash, multiple images, or many videos, avoid these kinds of things since it will only be a burden for your webpage it will decrease the loading speed and the bounce rate will increase so basically this is just a suggestion

ON-Page SEO

Now, this is the most important point a website developer or a website designer should understand. Whenever he is designing a website he has to keep in mind that whenever a user searches a term he should land only on the relevant page for which he is searching because that is the basic principle in which Google algorithm work. Keywords should be properly bound with a Landing page. If a keyword is not properly bound with the landing page then Google might show any relevant page for a particular keyword and that can harm organic ranking for a website so keep in mind that always use the relevant keyword for the relevant page to get better ranking in Google search engine SERP.

Proofreading

Content on your website should be accurate, correct and updated. There are many chances that people use the content or the contact information on your website to get in touch with you to avail of your products and services. In case the content is not updated or not accurate then there are chances that you may miss these sales opportunities, leads or to be customers. As a digital marketing agency, our company always ensures that whenever we are designing any website we make sure that we do a Proofreading before getting LIVE into the market and make sure that everything is well in place

Internet Design : A Full Detailed Explanation

GotitNow is a well-known internet design company in India, which builds a professional website for your business or shop at an affordable cost.

As far as the internet is concerned, web design is vital. Understand what is involved in this movement, the motivations behind why it is valuable, and the capabilities needed to achieve quality.

When was the last time you considered what went on with web design, and what are the processes involved?

Normally, we view the internet as a visual medium. Websites, applications, administrations, games, and so on need interaction points to give users the best experience. However, all depends on great design.

Web design plays an imperative role in boosting a business’s digital presence. This sort of information will enable any business to focus appropriately on the right arrangements when launching an item or service.

What is Internet web design?

The art of web design is arranging and organizing content on a website, so it can easily be shared and accessed via the internet.

In addition to the website’s tone, text style, and illustrations, web design also determines a webpage’s layout and its client’s perspective.

In the following sections, we will discuss a few subdivisions of website design.

Graphic design for the web

To establish a strong presence, the design must translate the brand’s identity to the web page. The visitor must understand that the page represents the business and see it as part of its presence.

Web design is the way a website looks. It incorporates everything from colors and fonts to the layout of its pages.

Interface design

is also part of web design. It refers both to traditional websites as well as to mobile apps, games, and computer software, among other products.

A user interface is anything that connects the user with the system. It should be simple, intuitive, and customized to the audience’s needs.

UX design

Good user experience is equally important to the design and feel of a digital interface. Creating a truly worthwhile experience requires understanding your users’ needs and meeting those needs.

Interacting with your business should always be a positive experience for your clients, which means no barriers and achieving their objectives every time.

Search engine optimization

Adding search engine optimization (SEO) to your website will ensure that Google and similar sites properly index your content. As a result, your content will rank higher in search engine results, reaching a larger audience looking for your solution.

In addition to content writing, web design plays a part in making sure your website is code-friendly.

Keeping the code clean will ensure your website is easy to navigate. All of those factors play a major role in determining your ranking.

Why is internet design so crucial?

Designing a website helps people perceive your brand the way you want them to. You can attract the right audience to your business and convert them into customers by adopting the correct visual marketing strategy and approach.

Customers are more likely to consider doing business with a brand that offers consistency and projects trust.

When it comes to engaging with your consumers, a well-structured website with high-quality graphics, compelling content, and easy navigation can offer you an advantage over your competitors.

What factors should be taken into account when designing a website?

Aesthetics

Web design must be able to convey your brand’s identity clearly and succinctly. Make sure your online presence matches your colors, styles, and feel.

But be mindful not to overdo it, as too many elements tend to slow down your visitors’ experience.

Solid navigation

When users access your site, they want to access information quickly and easily. Your navigation system must be simple and self-explanatory for leads to remain on your page.

Responsive design

is more important than ever. Your audience will access your site from different devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.

To have a successful website design, you must integrate responsive design.

Content quality

The audience visits your website to find valuable information they need.

Consistency is important for writing good copy on your website, so that it aligns with your style of writing. Your website’s content is just as important as its design.

Speed of the Website

Web speed is an important element of web design, because it ensures your audience can access information quickly.

What are the top 5 internet web design principles?

  1. Planning and executing your design without considering your target audience could hinder your company’s ability to attract the right customers.
  2. Make sure your visuals are consistent across all channels – online and offline.
  3. Too many elements divert the user and weaken your brand’s presence.
  4. Documenting every stage of your web design is necessary, so it can be checked and referred to in the future.
  5. Having a call-to-action (CTA) button to guide prospects to the next stage is a bonus point.

A web designer must have the following skills & tools:

Web design tools

The first step to choosing the right tools is learning what the job requires, who you’re targeting, and where you’ll be using them.

There are plenty of tools that streamline and standardize web design work.

Examples – Photoshop, Sketch, WordPress, Wix, Figma, Vectr, Bootstrap, Adobe Spark, Dreamweaver, Proofhub, etc.

Communication

Web designers work closely with other professionals, so good communication is vital for the completion of any project. This includes a clear understanding of project criteria and communicating well with others.

A web designer is responsible for a business’s visual presentation, so they are required to understand how their decisions fit with the project’s objectives and specifics.

HTML / CSS

Working on web design requires programming knowledge. The main languages required are HTML and CSS, each performing a different function.

When writing in HTML and CSS, an experienced web designer uses the right tags and values to apply the planned design. The result is a website that accurately shows elements.

UX/UI

Since web designers work with interfaces, they must be skilled in UX/UI. Despite being commonly used in conjunction, those are different concepts.

Designing UX involves understanding what your target audience wants from whatever you are creating, whether it’s a website, an app, or anything else.

The purpose of user interface design is to create an easy-to-use interface so that your product or service can be used by anyone, regardless of their technical ability. Designers need to be skilled at creating user interfaces that people can easily use.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Web design plays an important role in making sure the content is indexed correctly by search engines and provides good visibility to its business.

Most of a website’s assets contribute to its ranking, including text, images, and code. This too requires knowledge of how content management systems work and can be optimized.

Time Management

As web designers, our time management skills are also crucial. We need to find ways to accomplish our goals within specifications, while staying on schedule.

Web designers should work around the budget and deadline of each stage. It can be harmful to a business if a task takes a long time to complete. Each stage should be projected using the budget and deadline.

List of guidelines for every Web Designer to adhere to for a successful website:

Design, Types of Design, Design Process, Know How

  • The website’s look and feel are critical. It’s where visitors form their first impressions, those split seconds when we decide whether to accept or reject what they see.
  • Defining the purpose of your website should be clear & direct, i.e. e-commerce, portfolio, showcasing your product/service, etc.
  • When the user visits your website, are they gaining any information/knowledge?
  • When designing a website, you should already have an idea of your targeted audience.
  • Making a responsive website is the key goal for every web designer.
  • The Rule of Simplicity – Less is more: Many sites are overdesigned, with too many elements on the page, distracting users from their intended purpose. It is important to keep your design simple, so users can navigate it naturally.
  • Using design elements and white space in an innovative way creates a less distracting, more appealing design and clarifies where the visitors are meant to go. Negative space enhances readability, draws attention to important content, and creates an enjoyable user experience.
  • Typography is an essential part of web design. Using the right fonts explains your brand personality and immediately grabs the audience’s attention. As part of your web design, you must choose typefaces that are readable and functional across all types of devices.
  • When the user visits the website, they should easily understand every phrase, word, headline, image, etc. Each visual element and all site content must be presented clearly and cleanly, with a focus on crucial conversion points.
  • Whether it’s telling a story, showing how a product works, evoking emotion, or creating an atmosphere, images are integral to web design. There is a saying that a picture tells a thousand words. Use images that represent your business aesthetics.
  • Consistency is a key element of web design, i.e. fonts, images, buttons, icons, layout, and other elements should be uniformed & spaced out across your branding. That will help your website have a polished and professional appearance, which boosts brand credibility.

Background Design in Website Design

Background Design in Website Design

Background designers are responsible for adding the visual elements to a film or other multimedia production. Their primary focus is the layout and design of the elements of a scene, such as the background and props. They are also responsible for the design of items such as camera equipment and sets. A background designer’s job may also involve art direction, which involves coming up with ideas and descriptions for painting the background. Some backgrounds are pre-designed but more commonly an artist will come up with their own design.

In website design, the background images that you choose to play an important role in determining the overall visual appeal of a particular design. A website design that has good background images will give visitors a preview of what the site is all about without them even having to click onto it. Thus, a website design that makes use of good background images will be able to increase traffic to your site, increase the number of hits that your site gets and even make you more money than you could have ever imagined. It’s no wonder then that websites designers are making use of backgrounds images in their website design projects!

Background designers usually design the background around, on top of or around something else, where the animation takes place. For example, if a character needs to rest in a stationary scene, the background artist can create a resting scene that incorporates a bed, a flower, and perhaps a chair or sofa. In some cases multiple backgrounds will use the same background (for instance, in the case of a scene set in outer space), so, first, they have to make a list of everything they have to include in the background for that specific scene. Then they must figure out which background will best fit that particular character and setting.

As you can see, the design of backgrounds plays a large role in the final product. The key to a good background is to capture the viewer’s attention as soon as it enters the frame of the video. This requires careful planning and subtlety. One way to achieve this subtlety is through the use of varying levels of depth in the background. This can be done using light or dark colors or it can be achieved by using different shapes or patterns. Another technique is to use shadows or subtle highlights against the main characters for greater effect.

When a person is creating a background design, he has two choices: he can either use simple geometric shapes or he can employ more intricate designs using color, patterns, and shading. With the use of complex shapes, one must take into account the proportions of the subject being depicted. For example, if a person is depicting an animal, he will want to create a more exaggerated version than if he were to depict a human figure. In addition, the size of the figure and its position can determine how he can employ depth. The size of a character in a drawing is typically proportional to the size of the background in inches. However, it can be difficult to get this correct in 2D drawings, which is why designers usually employ complex patterns in 3D computer graphics.

Color is another important aspect of background design. The colors used should have some sort of monochromatic scheme in order to eliminate the problem of seeing dark or bright colors blending together. A common monochromatic scheme is to utilize the primary and secondary colors. When using primary colors, the dominant colors of the pattern should be utilized as the primary background. The secondary colors are supposed to blend with the main color in such a way that it appears as if they were to be part of the background. These schemes are most often used when designing portraits or images of people.

Large patterns in backgrounds design are not only used as elements of the pattern, but also as backgrounds for photographs or images. One method for concealing large patterns is to make use of shadow. This technique can be achieved by making the large pattern to fade into the background as it appears in the photograph. In this manner, a photograph appears to have background scenes that do not contain large patterns.

Animation is another interesting way to use backgrounds in design projects. One technique that most animation background designers use is to apply frames. A frame can be defined as an area on a photo or image that is used as the unit of an image. Most animation background designers make use of these frames in order to present moving pictures or moving scenes as if they are being viewed from a television or a computer monitor.
